Guruvaar Prarthna
Our Beloved Sadguru Sainath, please accept our humble prayers on this Holy Day of Guruvaar. Baba, we move through life trusting every grain of sand, every ray of sun, every drop of rain, every rose and thorn, every stone, the river that flows, the breeze that blows, trusting everything and everyone and giving service of love to all. In trust we live, in trust we pray, because trust alone triumphs and trust alone take us towards our ultimate object of reaching Your Lotus Feet. On this holy day we start our prayers by reading your divine guidance in Shri Sai Samartha Satcharitra.
Once it so happened that Nanasaheb Chandorkar left Nandurbarto go to Pandharpur.
Nana was very lucky. His whole-hearted devotionto Sai had borne fruit. He had the earthlyparadise,21 as he had got the Mamlatdari of thatplace.
When he received the orders at Nandurbar, hehad to leave immediately. Hurriedly he made allthe arrangements, desiring in his heart thedarshan.
Along with his wife, and family circle, hethought of going to Shirdi, as Shirdi was his Pandharpur; andhe wanted to pay his respects to Baba.
He did not send a letter to anybody nor did he send anymessage. He gathered together all his belongings and got intothe carriage hurriedly.
In this way, Nana started and nobody in Shirdi knew of it.But Sai knew everything, as Sai was all-pervading.
Nana started immediately. He must have been at the outskirtsof Nimgaon. Now listen carefully to the miracle that happenedat Shirdi, in truth, at that time.
Baba was in the Masjid with Mhalsapati. Appa Shinde andKashiram, the devotees, were seated chatting.
At that moment, Baba said casually, "Let four of us sing abhajan. The Doors of Pandharpur have opened. We can singjoyously ".
Sai had knowledge of the past, present and future. He hadalready learnt the news. Nana was near the stream at theoutskirts, when Baba was singing the bhajan zealously.
Bhajan
" I am going to Pandharpur – going, going!
There I will stay! There I will stay, stay!
That is the abode of my Master! "
Baba himself sang the bhajan and the devotees who weresitting around followed him. They were engrossed in theirlove for Pandharpur. Just then Nana arrived.
He bowed down at his feet23, with his wife and said thatMaharaj should go with them to Pandharpur and settle thereundisturbed and without any worry.
This invitation was not necessary. Already Baba was injoyous mood; and people told him24, that he was ready to go toPandharpur as the bhajan's words indicated.
Nana was extremely surprised and seeing the leela was amazed. He put his head at his feet and was deeply emotionally moved.
Taking his blessings, 'udi' and 'prasad', and bowing again,Chandorkar set out for Pandharpur, after getting hispermission to go.
